Revu 2017 and above

Revu 2017 allows you to install the Revu 2017 trial while keeping your existing Revu 2016 installation by choosing the Maintain Previous Version option during the installation. This is only supported with Revu 2016.

There are a few new settings in the Bluebeam Administrator that let you switch between the two installed versions of the plugins and Revu.

Plugins Tab

The plugins list includes plugins for both Revu 2016 and 2017, so you can switch between them, if needed.

To switch between plugin versions:

  1. Close the application.
  2. Uncheck the current plugin, check the desired plugin and click OK.
  3. Restart the application.

Revu Tab

The Revu Version drop-down allows you to switch the default between the two versions of Revu. Select the version and click Apply.

Note: The Quick Launch option must be disabled and unloaded to switch the active version of Revu.

Licence and Registration: You can register Revu 2017 if you decide to upgrade. However, running in this manner does not allow the two versions of Revu to use the same licence.
