System administrators are provided with an MSI Deployment Package that allows an unattended installation of Bluebeam across their network. Download the PDF guide above for detailed installation instructions.

MSI Deployment Package

The MSI Deployment package uses Microsoft’s Windows Installer framework to execute installation using the Msiexec Utility. Parameters can be configured through an MSI editor such as Orca and run with a network deployment vehicle such as Group Policy or Windows SMS.

Using the MSI to upgrade from Revu 2015.x to Revu 2016 on Windows 8.1 or Windows 10:

You must follow the steps listed below if you’re upgrading from Revu 2015.x to Revu 2016 on either Windows 8.1 or Windows 10:

  1. Contact Bluebeam Technical Support to request a copy of the “Unregister Revu 2015” script, and run it before preceding to the next step.

Note: The “Unregister Revu 2015” script is only available to customers using the MSI method, and only needed when deploying Revu 2016 to machines that already have Revu 2015 installed on Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.

  2. Run the Uninstall Previous Version.bat file that’s included in the “MSIBluebeamRevu16” zip file you’ve downloaded.
  3. Now you can install Revu 2016 using the MSI file.
